it was a long drawn out day at the hospital, from 11am(suppose to be surgery time-to 7:00actual time leaving the OR. It was def stressful, but def worth it... My dear husband has been thru ALOT w/ his bum knee but it should hopefully be fixed finally (fingers crossed) he deserves a good knee, he deserves to walk w/out pain, to go to work w/out having to deal w/ it. He deserves the best... We had some wonderful nurses and the best doctor! I'm so glad he had a good experience, i know i did, I hated waiting around 2hours waiting for him to come out of that operating room but i wouldnt of left him there for the world. Sitting here thinking about my husbands surgery makes me realize just how lucky i truely am. Alot of wives on this military base constantly complain about how lazy their husbands are.. dont get me wrong i was def one of those wives on some days. Its hard to see everything your husband does for you until they cant do it anymore... right now its been 1hour since surgery and my husband is sitting on the couch w/ our two year old daughter reading her a story as he rests his knee... its the little things like that, that makes me realize just how truely blessed i am. how many dads would come out of surgery and instead of sleeping the day away read their daughter a story. : ) it just goes to show that we as wives need to give our husbands a little break now and than, they work all day and than come home and spend time w/ us.. they deserve a little break.. after all they are doing the best they can w/ what they are given.. so kiss them a little more, yell a little less and just enjoy the time we are given.. you never know when it can all be taken from you.. goodnight bloggers, i hope you learned a little from this.. i know i sure have : )
